This truly turns our home into the original brick it started out to be over 100 years ago.  We looked many places and checked into sandblasting, however due to the age of the brick, it was not possible.  Your crew was courteous and had many visitors stop and ask questions.  They were always willing to take time to explain the process.  They were very thorough and cleaned and removed all tape and materials.  I just can't thank you enough for the wonderful job and the transformation of our old brick home!"

My biggest regret is not having the brick painted sooner. It made a huge difference in the appearance of our building. Craig did a great job explaining the process to all of the onlookers. The guys showed up at the promised times and worked diligently
to get our project finished quickly. An amazing transformation and a fun process to watch.  The paint scheme that Craig suggested really brought out the features of the building.  Great job!

The time had come for the owners to address the exterior of their beautiful century home in an upscale metropolitan community.  The first priority, the brick finish.

The homeowners visited our booth at a national home and garden show while researching possibilities for their project.  As a next step we agreed to provide an on-site sample.  The purpose of the sample was for the client to witness first hand how natural the finished product would look on their home.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
The property has been restored to its original magnificence.  Immeasurable improvement in curb appeal!

Is this your fireplace?  How disappointed you must be!  This antique fireplace (notice the old flue handle) has had a fresh coat of paint over many older coats of paint.  The owners would have preferred an unpainted fireplace, however due to the fact that it had already been painted, that option is gone for ever. The only option was repainting and they chose a colour they could ‘live with’ and grudgingly slapped on yet another coat of paint!

After

Wow!  Your guests won’t know it is painted unless you tell them.  And they still won’t believe you!  The fireplace has now become a proud highlight of the room!
Notice the highlight colour on the arch and the antique ‘smokey’ finish around the firebox opening.

How do you envision your fireplace or interior wall?  Describe your vision and we will deliver the natural appearance of unpainted brick.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The previous owners had this home painted to satisfy the look and feel they desired.

After
One of the first items on the list for the new owners was to address the white painted brick. They considered the options of stripping, sand/soda blasting or repainting to another more satisfactory color.

While searching the internet they discovered The Brick Painters.Com's option. After we completed a color sample on their home for their consideration, they knew. The home has now been restored to it's original stately charm!
Exactly the look the home owners envisioned.

Please note; Stone sills under the windows and arch keystones finished to "stone" appearance. Brick arches over the windows finished to "Olde Chicago" accent color to highlight.

Underneath the blue painted veneer is a gorgeous Victorian Gothic mansion.
It was built in 1874 and has been designated an "Historical Landmark
Property".

The current (new owners) of the property sought to restore the
building back to its original charm and stately beauty.
They researched sandblasting and paint stripping to address the blue
paint, but, with costs exceeding $80K, not including having to deal
with old lead based paints, the damage from sandblasting, the extra
environmental costs, (plus the bureaucracy involved!), the property
owners were left with the only option available....repaint!

At first they believed their only choices were the "accepted" colors
"approved" by the Niagara Falls Historical Society. However, after the
owners researched the internet, they discovered The Brick
Painters.com's option.

"Re-Paint the painted brick to an authentic, natural, Un-Painted brick appearance!"

Because re-painting was already an acceptable renovation/maintenance
procedure, and The Brick Painters.com were only re-painting already
painted brick, the process was instantly approved by the local council.

Now the property owners have exactly the appearance they want, and as an added bonus, at a small fraction of the cost of sandblasting or
paint stripping!

The property is being operated as "Blythewood Manor at Bampfield Hall Bed and Breakfast".

Click on the Article to the left, to see how while working on "Bampfield Hall", word went out around town that the Hall was being renovated.

"They are stripping the brick", was the assumption.  This news created interest at "The Niagara Falls Review" Newspaper.  They called the owners of Brampfield Hall and made arrangements to report on and interview the owners of the Hall the next day.  When the photographer and reporter arrived the next day they were flabergasted to learn that what they were witnessing was NOT Paint Stripping, but Re-Painting.  As you will see in the PDF Copy of the article, the response was fabulous!

"We were torn for over a year as to what color to paint over our painted white brick front house. The front design of the house is unique and charming with historic stone details and trim details, and we wanted to be very carefull with how we presented it. We used color simulation software, consulted designers, color consultants, and we weren't satisfied with the paint schemes they gave us.

After much research, we decided to bring in The Brick Painters, and boy did they hit the nail on the head! We have since recieved many compliments on how wonderfull the transformation has been. Our "facebook friends" can't believe that this was faux painted and not sandblasted.

I am an engineer and I take my time with my decisions and I couldn't be happier with this decision! Your work crew is patient and meticulus and don't leave until they have satisfied the customer. Two thumbs up and a firm recommendation!

Before

Approximatly 20 years ago this brick house was painted surrounded white.  For whatever reason this was the look that the previous homeowner desired.

The current homeowner desired the original, unpainted brick finish and decided to investigate sandblasting and paint stripping.  She quickly discovered the high cost and the damaging effects, both structurally and environmentally of sandblasting and stripping.

After exploring these alternatives, she had resigned herself to not being able to achieve the look she desired.

After

The homeowner discovered The Brick Painters .Com through the local chamber of commerce who suggested that we might be able to give her the appearance she hoped she could achieve.

After consulting with our on-site representative who provided a sample for consideration, the homeowner was very excited and requested that her neighbours drop by to provide their opinion.  When they thought they were looking at a sample of paint stripping (i.e. the actual real brick) she was convinced that this was the option for her!  It had the natural appearance of unpainted brick and mortar.  She was also delighted to know that this was achievable at a fraction of the cost of stripping and sandblasting!

It is rare for any painted brick to look great.  After all, in order to look great it would have to look like natural brick!

After

That’s more like it!  They wanted the appearance of  natural unpainted brick.  Mission accomplished!  Notice how the Campbellford brick colour with antique lime putty coloured mortar beautifully compliments the unpainted brick on the rest of the building.

This type of transformation enriches and works especially well in apartments and condos, as well!
